Antrim set to name Andy McEntee as their new manager

By Michael McMullan

FORMER Meath manager Andy McEntee is set to be named as the new Antrim senior boss, taking over from Enda McGinley who stepped down after the Saffrons’ exit from the Tailteann Cup.

McEntee, a former Meath minor boss, won an All-Ireland Club title with Dublin’s Ballyboden St Enda’s and stepped down from his post as Meath manager at the end of the 2022 season.

It’s understood McEntee’s name will be brought before the county’s clubs for ratification on Monday night.

Antrim will begin the 2023 season in Division Three after finishing mid table following promotion under McGinley’s tenure in 2020.
