LOUGHGIEL V CUSHENDALL

Sunday, Ballycastle, 2pm

THE ‘Dall topped their group with former player Brian Delargy at the helm and face a Loughgiel side who have bounced back from being outplayed by St John’s in the opening game. Both teams have a crack at the title in their sights.

Verdict: Cushendall

 

DUNLOY V ST JOHN’S

Sunday, Dunsilly, 5pm

DUNLOY have got used to having ‘Big Ears’ coming home on county final night in recent years, but haven’t cut the mustard in Ulster. They’re the fancied horse again and their plethora of county players should help them back to the final.

Verdict: Dunloy

 

ANTRIM INTERMEDIATE HURLING SEMI-FINALS

CLONEY GAELS V ST GALL’S

Friday, Dunsilly, 7pm

THREE Colla McDonnell goals saw Cloney top their group and are the form team this season. St Gall’s won all their games except a defeat to leaders Glenariffe. Jackson McGreevy is the Belfast’s side key man and will need to deliver.

Verdict: Cloney Gaels

 

GLENARIFFE V CUSHENDUN

Saturday, Cushendall, 3pm

TWO teams to challenge Cloney in the title race. Cushendun plied their trade in Division 1 and have former Antrim stopper Gareth McGhee between the posts. Glenariffe topped their group.

Verdict: Cushendun

 

ANTRIM JUNIOR HURLING SEMI-FINALS

RASHARKIN V CLOUGHMILLS

Saturday, Rasharkin, 3pm

FORMER Lavey manager Johnny McGarvey has Rasharkin ticking along nicely and have conceded just one goal on their way to top of the group. Cloughmills are this weekend’s opponents in a tight encounter.

Verdict: Rasharkin

 

GLENARM V ARMOY

Saturday, Páirc Uí fhearsithe, 3pm

SHANE O’Neill’s topped their group, but face a battle hardened Armoy who had to fend off a tough Davitt’s comeback in their quarter-final. It could be make or break.

Verdict: Armoy

 

ANTRIM SENIOR LADIES FOOTBALLCHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

MONEYGLASS V ST PAUL’S

Sunday, Davitt Park, 4pm

THE big two meet again is the second part of the double header. Both clubs supplied Antrim with plenty of their All-Ireland winning side. Moneyglass had a decent run in Ulster last season and will want a return.

Verdict: Moneyglass
