Team news:

Naomh Éanna take a big step this year as they attempt to play senior championship hurling. Antrim legend Terence McNaughton coached Naomh Éanna to an Ulster Intermediate title last year, and he believed that the club were good enough to play at senior level. This year, the Glengormley side make their bow at the top tier with Dee Ross and Jamie Curran in as management.

The club have one returnee to the squad in Eoin Conlon.

Ryan Bogue has went to Australia for the year so he is unavailable.

Bar those two, the team will be much the same as it was last year.

No one has retired and there are no injuries or absences to report

One player to watch out for is Niall O’Connor who is in his first year senior.

He won Gaelic Life young hurler of the year last year.
