PEARSE’S having a slender home win when they crossed swords. O’Donnell’s needed a PJ Meehan point to force extra time in their semi-final win over Éire Óg. Pearse’s had a facile semi-final and are tipped to take the title.

FOUR goals from Rebecca Higgins helped the Shamrocks edge a thriller with Rasharkin and they are well placed to finish the job.

THE Glenravel girls have pulled off some excellent results including a win over champions Loughgiel. With a dozen players having picked up football medals recently, Portglenone stand in their way of the double.

DUNLOY V GLENRAVEL

Saturday, Dunsilly, 3pm

IT’S a first intermediate decider for Glenravel since 1979 and they face a Dunloy team eyeing a football and hurling double. Con Magees’ manager Joe Cassidy has had intermediate success in Derry with Greenlough and he can steer their young guns to an upset.

ANTRIM SENIOR CAMOGIE FINAL

DUNLOY V LOUGHGIEL

Sunday, Glenravel, 2pm

THE Shamrocks have lost a host of key players, but are back challenging for another title. They face their local rivals Dunloy who edged out Ballycastle. The champions seem to be hitting form at the right time.

CARGIN V AGHAGALLON

Sunday, Corrigan Park, 3pm

CARGIN needed every ounce of resolve to unseat champions Creggan and face Aghagallon who are also back in the final after an indifferent league campaign. Goalkeeper John McNabb has been one of the Cargin stories of the championship and, collectively, they should get their hands back on the cup
