Annaghmore out to cause a few surprises

Declan Fox, Dara McGuinness, Paul Cullen and Karol McQuade.

Championship programme:

Armagh SFC round one
Annaghmore v Mullaghbawn, August 7

Team news:

It’s tough lines for Annaghmore this season as they have been left with a fairly depleted panel for various reasons, namely injuries and men away travelling. They still have some stalwarts driving the thing on. The likes of Michael Devlin, Michael McConville, Daniel McGilly, Michael McNeice, Michael McQuade and Owen McCormack have been great servants for the club. Former Armagh goalie Mattie McNeice captains the side this year and it’s a pity they couldn’t clone him to play in goals and outfield. Annaghmore have been a senior team since their 2013 Junior win, when a restructure saw them skip intermediate, and they have been a real credit. They are always difficult opposition, especially at home, and Mullaghbawn is definitely a game they can win.
