All-Star nominations Antrim hurling – Dunloy and Loughgiel make the grade

DUNLOY successfully defended their senior hurling championship title and survived some scares from the likes of Ballycastle and Rossa. Loughgiel were valiant in the final, but couldn’t defeat the Cuchullains resolve.

DONAL MCKINLEY (LOUGHGIEL)

McKinley was a livewire attacker during the 2020 campaign. He brought the battle to Dunloy in the county final, but the Shamrocks had left themselves with too much to do.

PAUL SHIELS (DUNLOY)

The Dunloy captain went off injured in the semi-final, but came back for the final and played a starring role. He’s still got it all. He can score, defend, and leads the team by example.

RONAN MOLLOY (DUNLOY)

Hard work and effort earned Ronan Molloy a place in the reckoning for this year’s All-stars. His dedication to the team effort helped to deliver an important win for the club.
