Sleacht Néill’s long domination of Derry hurling continued in 2020, but they still had to put the work in. Kevin Lynch’s made them work for their 14th title in 2020.
BRENDAN ROGERS (SLEACHT NÉILL)
The dual star is a brilliant target man for the Robert Emmett’s attack and he was on form in the 2020 campaign. He picked up plenty of ball sent in from midfield and despatched it with aplomb.
CORMAC O’DOHERTY (SLEACTH NÉILL)
O’Doherty is often noted for his scoring prowess from frees, and he rarely misses. However his great strength this season was his play-making and he was excellent at bringing his team mates into play.
SEAN KELLY (KEVIN LYNCH’S)
The Kevin Lynch’s goalkeeper had a fine season and his distribution couldn’t have been faulted during their campaign. He was an assured stopper between the sticks.
