In this week’s Gaelic Life, Steven Poacher explains why every manager needs to use video analysis.
“It’s extremely difficult, and barring one or two majoriincidents, to recall who, when, where and what happened in different moments in a match.
“I have tried in the past to no avail. I was travelling home recently recalling the incidents of a game, and I had convinced myself that a certain player had been turned over in the lead up to an opposition goal. In fact, the incident had happened ten minutes before hand.
“By watching the video of a game, and analysing it, you can look at so many factors such as mistakes you made, areas you may have struggled in, and areas you may have an advantage in.”
Poacher goes on to explain some more advantages that he has found when using video analysis.
