As a precursor to the All-Ireland final, Pauric Grimes has decided to share his top ten training tips, for those of you who want to be in the best shape for an important match.
You don’t have to be playing in an All-Ireland final to be well prepared.
He says: “Set realistic goals.
“Short term and long term goals are important. Give yourself a challenge but one that will be achieved with a little hard work.
“Short term goals can be something as simple as prepping food for the day every evening before you switch off for the night.
“Long term goals can be improving your three rep max at the back squat. Or taking ten seconds off your 5k personal best.
“Get specific with your goals and you will achieve them.”
