While the county of Tyrone are brimming with excitement about their All-Ireland appearance, the downside is that the club scene has been severely limited because of the county’s success.
Pauric Grimes interviewed a Tyrone club player to find out what he is doing in the down time.
The player said that training has been difficult.
“Through the July break it was fairly inconsistent with men on holidays but from the third week on we regrouped.
“Since then it’s been hard to hit our stride in training as we’ve not known if we were two weeks away from Championship or two months away.”
He goes on to explain the challenge he faces staying match sharp.
