Tweak your preparations in training so you know what is right come championship time
In his column in the current issue of Gaelic Life, Paraic Grimes emphasises that those of us who want to improve, must think more about our sessions.
It is not enough to just turn up at training and go through the motions.
He says: “There are so many little facets of your match day routine that can be tweaked, improved and constantly evolved so that you are in the position to play the game of your life.
“Use training sessions to test out what works.
“Use challenge games to test out what works.
“Then, by the time that championship swings by you will know what works.”
