PADDY McKeever has claimed that Tyrone would hold a distinct advantage over Dublin if the sides were to meet right now.
The former Armagh forward, a guest columnist in today’s Gaelic Life, believes that Tyrone’s tougher path to the quarter-final leaves them in a better position than Jim Gavin’s side.
“Dublin’s facile passage to date, through no fault of their own, places them in a precarious position. They need a challenge before they inevitably face Tyrone,” McKeever said.
“I’d go as far to suggest that if both teams squared up in a fortnight’s time, Tyrone would hold a distinct advantage.”
