WITH county titles being secured up and down the country, Gaelic Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has given a unique take on the days that follow such a triumph.
Writing in today’s edition, Cassidy out-lined his own experiences after winning a Dr Maguire Cup with his native Gaoth Dobhair.
“Cavalcade around Gweedore with the cup, car lights stretching as far as the eye could see. Boys hoping off at different pubs in the parish and having time to drink two or three pints before being picked up by another car in the cavalcade such was the length of it.”
