GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has questioned the long-term impact of Donegal’s All-Ireland triumph in 2012.
In a hard-hitting piece in today’s edition, Cassidy believes that Glenswilly’s 0-3 to 0-2 win over St Eunan’s represented a nadir of modern day football.
“The majority of those involved with that squad have brought this template back to their clubs,” he said.
“If you went to the training sessions of all the club teams in Donegal, 90 per cent of them are doing the exact same drills and training games.”
Cassidy also gave a little more away on his relationship with Jim McGuinness, something he has only touched on briefly in the past.
