Kevin Cassidy: My life under Jim McGuinness

In the final part of his recent Donegal managerial series, Kevin Cassidy has opened up on his time spent under Jim McGuinness.

In a special extended column, the Gaoth Dobhair man praises McGuinness for taking Donegal to a new level but also suggests that his stubbornness possibly cost the Tir Chonaill county another All-Ireland in 2014.

“Even though Jim and I are now far from good friends, I have no problem acknowledging the amazing job he did for Donegal but I’d also like to add that the players deserve tremendous credit as do the likes of Rory Gallagher,” said Cassidy.”
