GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has admitted that the recent withdrawals from the Donegal camp are worrying.
Writing in today’s edition, Cassidy gives his take on the decision of Eoin McHugh, Peter Boyle and, most recently, Michael Carroll to opt out.
“We are at a rebuilding phase and in order to rebuild property you must have your best players at your disposal. For whatever reasons these three young lads have opted to turn their backs on county football for the time being and it’s disappointing when you see that happening, especially in your own county.”
