GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has said that Donegal are still too reliant on Michael Murphy.

Cassidy praised Rory Gallagher’s side for an impressive League campaign, but said that there were still issues to be addressed ahead of their Ulster opener against Antrim.

“Not alone is he now playing most of his football at midfield he is now one of the main ball carries out of defence,” he said.

“It would be great to be able to play Micheal at number 14 but we just have to make peace with that fact that we are not strong enough to be able to do that for long periods during games because without him in that middle sector we tend to take a battering.”
