SAVED…Brian McEniff kept Kevin Cassidy’s name clean

GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has revealed the real reason why he sat out Donegal’s last Qualifier clash with Longford, back in 2003.

Brian McEniff told the press that a niggle had been in responsible, but in today’s edition Cassidy tells the tale of a wedding, a few drinks and a regretful run on the beach.

“Bottles of Bud soon made way for the Fat Frogs and by the end of the night I could barely remember my name let alone what time throw-in was the next day.”
