Kevin Cassidy: Bluffers will be spotted a mile off

GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has said that the three candidates in the running for the Donegal job must have impressive backroom teams in place if they are to get the thumbs up from the Tir Chonaill players.

Declan Bonner, Cathal Corey and Sean Paul Barrett are being interviewed for the position this week, and Cassidy said that it’s not the main man that counts, rather the entire management team.

“Donegal have been dining at the top table since 2011 so naturally players within the squad know what structures should be in place from a managerial point of view to enable them to compete at that level. In other words, they will be able to spot a bluffer a mile away.”
