Arguments should not happen between management or players

John Morrison, in his column in this week’s Gaelc Life, talks about how trust is a two way street.

He says that there are many ways to promote trust on a panel, and he gives those suggestions in a column.

“Coaches should be honest , fair and straight with players.

“No saying one thing and doing another, or promising but not delivering.

“When you are with fellow coaches you should debate rather than contradict each other, and certainly don’t do so in front of players.

“If you do so, players will not know which coach to trust.”

Morrison goes on to highlight a number of other ways that Trust can be built, including how a coach should deal with bad apples even if they are the most talented Roy Keane or Eric Cantona types.
