If we are to truly improve then we must face our fears.
That’s the message in John Morrison’s Gaelic Life Column this week.
Morrison believes that players who understand their fears and limitations, and then face them will soon overcome those fears and progress.
He believes this because he has personal experience.
“When I was a young coach I was in awe of the best players, afraid of them.
“I made myself face my fear and coach the players in one-to-one clinics. That way I learned much from the players and from myself, and now I treasure one-to-one sessions.”
