He explains the signs the coaches need to watch for if they don’t want their players to make any crucial mistakes.
“It is beneficial if game settings, both in training and competition, and manual and recorded statistics are taken.
“As well as game stats like restarts, scores and turnovers, managers should also monitor body language, physical condition and morale to assess if players are on or off their game.
“Being on or off your game can lead to critical mistakes, either being sent off or injured because concentration, confidence and alertness or awareness are compromised.”
He goes on to explain what exactly managers should keep a note of when watching their team.
