GAELIC Life hurling columnist John Martin has outlined why he thinks Galway will succeed in Sunday’s highly-anticipated All-Ireland final against Waterford.
Writing in today’s edition, Martin said that the Tribesmen have played like men possessed as they chase a first Liam MacCarthy Cup since 1988.
“Their muted celebrations after winning the Leinster title pointed to a team that has one mission only this season. The league and provincial titles will be considered meaningless unless they’re joined by the MacCarthy Cup on Sunday,” he said.
