GAELIC Life columnist John Martin believes that Clare’s bruised pride could be the key to a shock All-Ireland quarter-final win over Tipperary.
The Banner county lost 1-25 to 1-20 against Cork in the Munster final, and Martin believes that there will be a backlash at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday.

“There’s a backlash in this Clare team – and the timing is right for it to be unleashed this weekend,” said Martin.
“It would have been interesting to be a fly on the wall last Monday as the Clare players were gathered together to watch the rerun of the Munster final.”
