GAELIC Life columnist Gerard O’Kane has said that people need to look closer at Tyrone’s missed chances in their All-Ireland final loss to Dublin.
Writing in today’s edition, O’Kane said that the black and white figures didn’t show the true reason for the high wide count.
“People will point to the 16 wides versus the six without looking at the shots which Dublin themselves either hit wide or dropped short when Tyrone where in the ascendency in the first quarter of the game. Yes Tyrone did kick some poor efforts but these can be described more as pot-shots.”
