GAELIC Life columnist Gerard O’Kane believes that Monaghan are ready to end their All-Ireland quarter-final hoodoo.
Writing in today’s edition, the former Derry defender believes that the ‘Super 8s’ present a golden opportunity for Malachy O’Rourke’s charges.
“These are the types of challenges which these Monaghan players relish. The Fermanagh game this year in Ulster hit them hard but if anything that result for Monaghan was an anomaly given their extraordinary level of consistency over the past eight years.”
