Pauric Grimes says that what athletes do now in the off season, can benefit them in the long term.
He says making clever choices about rest, diet, and planning, will serve you well going into next year.
“The long and the short of it is this, enjoy your off season.
“It shouldn’t be as mentally and as physically intense as the last few months of football, and it’s a big window of opportunity to develop as an athlete before pre-season kicks in. Don’t go in blind, Approach it with a plan, and have aims and goals behind the training you’re doing.
“If you do all that then you’ll start next season in a position to be an even bigger contributor to your team’s ambitions.”
Pauric explains five key areas to consider for your off-season training.
