GAELIC Life columnist Cahal Carvill believes that the stream of top GAA players coming forward to talk about mental health can only be helpful in the fight against the issue.
In a touching article in today’s edition, Carvill speaks candidly about the issue whilst paying tribute to Aodhan O’Donnell.
“In the 20 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement on 10 April 1998, more people have taken their own lives here than were killed during the Troubles. Since the peace deal was signed, around 4,500 have taken their own lives.”
