HERE’S your nominees for Gaelic Life’s Tyrone Camogie All-Star award.
ANNABELL MCATEER (EDENDORK)
McAteer only 18 years old but she looks like a real star of the future. Edendork lost out in the Intermediate Championship final to Naomh Treasa, but she gave a great account of herselves and was moved onto mark one of their most dangerous opponents, Rebecca Barker. Has a great attitue and should shine for years to come.
CARA LITTLE (NAOMH TREASA)
A personal tally of 2-10 in their Intermediate final victory over Edendork is impressive enough, but it’s all the more noteworthy when you consider 2-8 of that was from play. She’s been one of their best players for years now so her inclusion is well-warranted.
GRAINNE RAFFERTY (NAOMH TREASA)
A star of the Tyrone ladies team, she’s also a fine camogie player in her own right. She won the player of the match in the Intermediate final win over Edendork for a hugely influential showing in the middle of the park. A really tenacious yet creative performer.
