Aislinn Keenan, Bredagh

A hugely dedicated club and county player, Aislinn is a leader on-and-off the field for the Bredagh ladies and camogie teams that won their respective championships in Down. Has a brilliant skill-set and was named player of the match for her performance from the half-back line in the Down Intermediate Camogie championship. Equally effective for the Bredagh team that retained their senior ladies title in style, she’s a major leader for all the teams she represents.

Sorcha Gormley, Eire Og, Carrickmore

Still only a teenager, Sorcha has been talked about in Tyrone circles as a potential star of the future for years. A lightning fast forward, she had a brilliant 2024 in every respect. Starred on the Éire Óg team that won a historic Bridie McMenamin title and was also a leading light on the ladies scene in Carrickmore, playing her part in their surge to a Tyrone Senior final championship appearance. Already a key player on the Tyrone Senior Ladies team, Sorcha is a hugely exciting prospect.

Oisin O’Hare, Carrickcruppen/Craobh Rua

A supremely talented man-marker, O’Hare made a crucial contribution to the Carrickcruppen charge this season as they captured the Intermediate Football Championship title in Armagh. He also made his mark on the hurling front, playing a key role in the Craobh Rua side that made it to the championship semi-final. Was singled out for special praise in the Orchard County for his performances across both codes.

Voting opens at 10am on Thursday 20th February and will close at 10am on Monday 24th February. Votes do not determine the final winners but help create awareness of the nominee’s shortlisting. The winner of this category will be announced at our Gala Awards Night at the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan on Friday 7th March 2025.
