Neal Peden ratified as Antrim hurling boss for 2019

Neal Peden has been appointed manager of Antrim Senior Hurling team for the 2019 season.

Peden comes into the top job having recently been part of last year’s management team of Terrence McNaughton and Dominic McKinley who stepped away earlier this year.

Clare legend and former Dublin manager, Anthony Daly will come into the management team in an advisory role, a massive coup for the Saffron men.

Neal will be assisted by Karl McKeegan, Gary O’Kane and Jim Close who all enter the fray as selectors.

Antrim will be without their Cushendall representitives for the beginning of the league as the club looks ahead to their All-Ireland club semi-final.

2019 would have been deemed a disappointing year for Antrim as they had to win a play-off to avoid relegation from the Joe McDonagh Cup.
