Rampant Goath Dobhair nail the Cross to reach decider

Ulster Club Senior Football Championship Semi-Final

Gaoth Dobhair 4-11

Crossmaglen 0-16

From Odhrán Crumley at Healy Park

Dáire Ó Baoill netted a first half hat-trick as a rampant Gaoth Dobhair side tore Crossmaglen apart to set up an Ulster decider with Scotstown.

Rian O’Neill led the Cross charge kicking 0-9 over the course of a spectacular performance before seeing red in the dying embers of the game, the Armagh men finishing with 13 as Johnny Hanratty was dismissed on the account of two yellow cards.

O’Baoill hit the net after only eight minutes before finishing off a superb counter attack, sealing the hat-trick by converting a penalty kick.

The Donegal champions in control at the break 3-5 to 0-9.

Kevin Cassidy shone in the second half adding a fourth goal for his team kicking 1-2 over the course of the second period, Crossmaglen unable to repair the damage despite their best efforts.
