GAELIC Life hurling columnist John Martin has hit out at the decision to host the Tipperary and Dublin Qualifier in Thurles.
Writing in today’s edition, Martin is confused with the decision to pick Semple Stadium rather than the Gaelic Grounds for a double-header that includes the clash of Waterford and Kilkenny.
“If a double header was deemed necessary, the Gaelic Grounds could easily host on Saturday night,” he said.
“The capacity difference between the two grounds is 3,000, Semple Stadium being the marginally larger venue.”
