Kevin Cassidy – Dublin must look after Diarmuid

Diarmuid Connolly

Kevin Cassidy has called upon the Dublin county board to support Diarmuid Connolly.

In his article in the current issue of Gaelic Life, Cassidy explains that Connolly has had his troubles of late, but warns people against judging the man.

Instead, Cassidy says that it should be expected that the Dublin County board to take care of their player.

“I am positive Diarmuid will have a great summer and hopefully he regains his spark and returns to grace Croke Park in the not-too-distant future.

“Finally, I’d like to say to Dublin County Board it is now up to you to look after not Diarmuid Connolly the five-time All-Ireland winner, but Diarmuid Connolly the person because in this big bad world it doesn’t matter how many All-Irelands you have if things are not going your way.”

Cassidy goes on to explain why America may be the perfect place for Connolly.
