GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy feels that the championship is starting to lose its spark as the strong get stronger and the weak weaker.

Writing in this week’s edition, the former Donegal defender said that he’s finding it hard to get excited by the action on show.

“The smaller teams will be left further and further behind with each passing season and before long you will have the top teams playing their second string teams in the earlier games much like the big soccer teams do in the FA or Carling Cup.”
