In his column in this week’s Gaelic Life, Pauric Grimes dispels a few myths about training, and also verify’s some of the facts.
However, he was particularly surprised that some players still won’t adhere to one of the most important aspects of training.
“I still can’t get my head around how many men refuse to accept responsibility for their own bodies.
“The most useful thing you can do for your manager is to be available for selection.
“If you are consistently carrying niggly injuries, and are ignorant to the benefits of stretching, then you are no good to anyone, especially not a team that wants to win a championship.”
