John Martin: Slaughtneil eyes on Na Piarsaigh

UP AND DOWN….Slaughtneil saw both the good and bath of Na Piarsaigh

In this week’s Gaelic Life, hurling columnist John Martin argues that there are a number of weaknesses that Slaughtneil will be able to exploit in their upcoming All-Ireland semi-final with Na Piarsaigh.

The Limerick side defeated Ballygunner to win the Munster title at the weekend, and although Michael McShane’s side will be underdogs, Martin gives them hope.

“While Na Piarsaigh were deserved winners, they looked far from unbeatable in the opening 25 minutes or so. In the final 25 minutes, they looked more like the All-Ireland champions of 2016.”
