Social Media Reaction – Tyrone Ladies fixture clash

The Tyrone ladies are preparing for an All-Ireland final this weekend

There is controversy in Tyrone this week as the county board have fixed club championship games on the same day as the Ladies footballers contest the All-Ireland final.

The Red Hands ladies are due to play Tipperary this Sunday, but there are also going to be games such as Errigal and Carrickmore as well as Owen Roes and Fintona, Brocagh and Clogher in the club championship on the same day.

This was met with frustration by Tyrone fans as there are ladies footballers from those clubs who will be at Croke Park.

It means that fans must make a choice, do they want to watch their club or their county.

Many annoyed fans voiced their frustration on Twitter.

Emma Hegarty says that last year the Tyrone ladies were poorly supported by the county board.

Clonoe and Carrickmore's clash on Saturday was another Tyrone Championship thriller.
