GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy has paid tribute to Dublin after they completed the three-in-a-row with a dramatic win over Mayo on Sunday.
Writing in today’s edition, he explained why he feels that this group is so special.
“The thing I love about them the most is the manner in which they carry themselves after the games. They are grounded, level-headed and calm and that is why they are in a position to come back year after year because getting carried away just isn’t going to happen.
“When you compare their win in 2011 with the recent wins then the behaviour and antics are miles apart, and that is all down to the beliefs and mentality Gavin has introduced.”
