Cavan manager – “It’s great to be underdogs”

The Cavan minors take on Kerry this weekend in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship semi-finals.

The Kingdom are bidding to win their fourth All-Ireland minor title in a row and are favoured to do so.

Yet Cavan boss John Brady told Gaelic Life why his team are excited by their challenge.

“We’re underdogs alright. It’s great to be in that position going in to an All-Ireland semi-final and we’ll see what happens on the day.

“It is the first time for many of them to be playing it, so you have to deal with that as well as Kerry being favourites. It’s new to everyone, myself included.”

Brady also explains why he has been so proud of his team this year, and highlights some of their strengths.
