Down handed Monaghan rematch

BACK DOOR..Down go into the Qualifiers following yesterday’s Ulster final loss to Tyrone

DOWN will meet Monaghan in Round 4B of the All-Ireland Qualifiers following this morning’s draw.

The other match will see Armagh facing Kildare as Kieran McGeeney meets his old team. Both games are set to be played at neutral venues.

The matches are due to be played on Saturday, July 29 with the CCCC set to confirm dates, venues and times this afternoon.

Gerard O’Kane has backed Monaghan to leave Healy Park with a famous victory in Sunday’s heavyweight Ulster clash.
