GAELIC Life hurling columnist John Martin has said that Antrim must quickly find their ruthless streak if they are to secure a return to Division One hurling.

“I came away from a couple of Antrim games this year saying ‘on another day they could have won by 10 points’ but I’m still waiting to see a ruthless streak that puts a team away when on top,” he said.

“Some of it goes back to Antrim’s age-old issue of a lack of ball-winning forwards; other times they are taking the wrong option in front of the posts.”
