GAELIC Life hurling columnist has tipped Waterford to finally get over the line in the 2017 All-Ireland Championship.

In his annual predictions, Martin outlines where he sees all the prizes going in the upcoming season.

“Tipp’ are favourites to retain the MacCarthy Cup and, given their demolition of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final, and indeed the manner in which they disposed of all comers aside from Galway, only a fool would bet against them,” said Martin.

“Which is why I’m tipping Waterford to win the All-Ireland for the first time since 1959.”
