Club football needs long term planning
Steven Poacher says that successful teams must have a plan.
In his column in Gaelic Life, he says that those teams that don’t have a plan are in danger of going in the wrong direction.
“You must plan long term for the season then monthly/weekly, then individual sessions.
“Without a plan you cannot map out where you are going and you and your team could end up heading in a direction that you don’t want to go.
“In club football with the Ballyholland seniors I like to map my year out into four different phases.”
