IN his weekly column, Pauric Grimes says to beware the cliche “no pain, no gain” and other coaching myths.
He says that “we are ultimately in a game of stimulation, not annhililation. Not being able to sit on the toilet two days after training isn’t a sign you had the best training session of your life.”
Grimes also says to keep a wide berth from Janury’s “annual return of the fitness know-it-all” and clears up the truth about protein shakes.
