GAELIC Life’s hurling columnist John Martin believes that Tipperary are well placed to add to their All-Ireland haul in the coming years.

Martin broke down the county’s stunning 2-29 to 2-20 victory over Kilkenny last weekend, and he expects even more from the Premier county.

“(Michael) Ryan won an All-Ireland this year with a number of young players – Ronan Maher, Dan McCormack, Michael Breen, John McGrath and Seamus Kennedy can only get better,” he said.

“And his promise that he’ll ensure that they keep their feet on the ground is a signal that Ryan won’t be satisfied with just one All-Ireland.”
