Teams played for:

Fermanagh – Enniskillen Gaels

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?

Obviously all those whom we recently invited to our Wedding, along with David Beckham (but then again he’d probably been the groom if he had met me first), Keith Lemon, my Nana McDermott, Ant and Dec.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?

The Bush and Blake’s of the Hollow – Great team sponsors

If you weren’t playing GAA what would you be at?

Be a professional footballer (yea soccer) as that was always the dream. Let’s not get into the gender inequality issues on that one.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Can’t remember name of it, but few years ago went to play a challenge in Leitrim with Enniskillen and we had to get changed in a derelict house and put sheep off the field before playing.

Which character in any film are you most like?

Was on a hen in Portugal recently and a few lads kept saying I reminded them of Jenifer Anderson cough cough lol I know…But I will take the compliment anyway.

Any odd items in your kit bag?

Just a few rusty hair clips and the odd rotten banana

What’s your preferred brand of gear?

Boots – Adidas
Trainers – Adidas, Nike, New Balance, and Vans I have A LOT of trainers
Gloves – Murphy’s (p.s. feel free to send me a free pair – men seem to get plenty. I’ve been playing a long time and never got a free pair)

Who’s the biggest joker in the teams you play for?

Aisling Moane – Always pushing her luck NAAAAAAAATTTT

Which team mate has the best looking other half?

Oh that’s a hard one, but have to go with Joanne Doonan from Kinawley, she’s now a Fermanagh WAG. I’d just be looking to nab some free Fermanagh gear….

Who is the worst trainer?

That’s an easy one – Fuzzy (Sarah McCausland) is never done stretching them hamstrings across the floor. Never want to be in her line for runs because you always end up having to do extra as she steps out.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?

Aisling Woods turns up thinking she’s going to a wedding, with Joanne Doonan a close 2nd.  However, they haven’t a patch on the past Newtown girls who will go down in history for this. Aine McBrien would have everything but the kitchen sink with her and best part is she doesn’t even pack her own, her mad mammy does.

Who’s the best/worst person to share a room with on away trips?

Best – Aisling Woods, laugh a minute, plenty of snacks, room service and breakfast in bed.
Worst – Aisling Woods, I won’t disclose why but I guess the good outweighs the bad so I’ll keep her.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?

Best and worst all in one Aisling Woods, same reasons as above. Clare Woods was always a good one to sit beside but always liable to get you into trouble.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?

Worst  – Aisling Woods, she once got the bus to stop at McDonalds on way to a championship match for a Big Mac.
Don’t think I would be recommending anyone’s diets in the team, Dietician need ASAP

Toughest opponent you have faced?

Tara Little in training.

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?

‘Take the points and goals will come’ followed shortly after with ‘Goals wins games’
Worst – the one that drives my batty is ‘Don’t care who you are, If you’re not playing well you will be off’. Then never take certain players off (happens in all teams).

Best manager you’ve ever played under?

Gregory McGonigle during my UUJ days. top trainer

Best ever performance?

Oh god I don’t know, don’t tend to focus on the good ones.

One to forget?

All Ireland Semi 2013

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?

Mia Hamm – always wanted to be a professional footballer.

If there was a transfer market who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?

In: Maebh Moriarty previously Armagh – Played with her in UUJ she did the simple things well. Never wanted the glory. The glue in the team. Infact would love another run out with that team again, Cathy Conway (Derry), Eimear Teague/Cathy Donnelly/Sarah Donnelly/Mora Kelly (Tyrone), Sinead McCleary (Armagh), Aileen Pyers (Down) to name just a few.
