Championship Fantasy Football – Antrim advice

Antrim's Tomas McCann

Antrim’s Tomas McCann

Tomas McCann has been Antrim’s top point-scorer during the league, and as a result he was their highest scoring fantasy player as well.

Chris Kerr was the second highest scoring goalkeeper in the league owing to his string of clean sheets. He would have topped the goalkeeper’s category but he didn’t play in round seven of the league.

If you are looking for their reliable defenders, then Kevin O’Boyle in the full back line, and James Lavery are the men you want to consider.
Michael McCann was a fantasy midfielder for the championship, but he’s since been switched to the full forward line, and as a result he may not score as heavily as he did in the league. But John Carron remains a potential option for you, as he scored 62 points in the league, the fifth highest.

Sean McVeigh has switched to full back line, while Sean Burke has switched to midfield.

Departures from the panel include half back Emmet Killough, half back Niall O’Neill, full forward Owen Gallagher.

The Antrim team named to start against Fermanagh on Sunday is:

Antrim (USFC v Fermanagh):

C Kerr

K O’Boyle, R Johnston, N Delargy;

P McBride, M Johnston, J Laverty;

N McKeever, C Murray;

M Fitzpatrick, K Niblock, J Carron;

B Neeson, M McCann, T McCann
