John Brennan wants meeting

THE SITUATION regarding John Brennan’s position as Derry senior football manager could be resolved as early as next week.
The Derry county board were due to discuss the matter on Tuesday night, however Gaelic Life understands that Brennan has had no communication from county board officials since Derry’s exit from the All-Ireland championship race at the hands of Longford in the qualifiers.
The Lavey man had been keen to meet with chairman John Keenan and other Oak Leaf officials to discuss the season gone by and the issues arising from it, some of which were made very public by captain Paddy Bradley in the aftermath of that Pearse Park defeat.
